Together, these companies are growing Iowa’s international presence in industries spanning agriculture, aeronautics, chemicals, construction, automotive and medical devices. Year-over-year growth has led manufacturing to become our state’s largest industry, and by far: at $28 billion contributed to Iowa’s GDP each year, manufacturing accounts for three times more than all of our state’s farming activities combined.
