Ag Startup Engine
The Ag Startup Engine, based in the ISU Research Park, is a systematic program to fund AgTech entrepreneurs and help them reach success through mentorship and early seed round investment support. Working in partnership with ISU’s Startup Factory, the Ag Startup Engine provides agricultural entrepreneurs a structured means of moving from an early business concept to an investment-ready business.
ISU Startup Factory
An avenue for students, faculty and staff to create businesses, the ISU Startup Factory is a 52-week intensive program housed at the Iowa State University Research Park. Entrepreneurs in the Startup Factory receive formal training, resources, and access to a network of business mentors, advisors, counselors and investors in two 26-week blocks.
Iowa AgriTech Accelerator
The Iowa AgriTech Accelerator, housed in Historic East Village, Des Moines, is a mentor-led, in-residence accelerator focused on startups with innovations in AgTech. Led by innovators and leaders in several areas of agriculture, The Accelerator seeks startups ready to change the status quo. The program provides seed funding, education, outreach and networking, and presentation opportunities. Graduation takes place at the prestigious World Food Prize.
