Leader, Global and North America Commercial Communications
Jane Bachmann heads global and North America commercial communications for Corteva Agriscience. In this role, she leads internal and external strategic communications in support of the commercial business. This includes working as an advocate for customers, supporting business targets, protecting and defending the brand, and helping to inspire and engage employees.
Since joining Corteva in 2010 as research communications manager, she has held a number of technical, strategy and business communication leadership roles. Jane has served as leader of global research communications for DuPont Pioneer and DuPont, managed executive and leadership communications during the merger between Dow and DuPont and led strategic communications for Corteva’s Seed Business Platform. During her tenure with the company, she developed the company’s science communications platform, product pipeline investor communications strategy and led the global and U.S. launch for the Brevant™ seed brand.
Prior to joining Corteva, Jane led global science and biotechnology communications for Syngenta at the company’s Research Triangle Park, NC office, and the global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
Raised on a small family farm, Jane is a native of Iowa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Jane represents Corteva as a Delegate Member of the ACC Board of Directors and on the communications committee of the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA). She is a member of the Public Relations Society of Iowa, a Girl Scout leader, and an avid fan the Johnston High School Band.
