Dr. Martin Haverly

Martin Haverly is the Manager of Process Development Engineering at Renewable Energy Group, Inc. In his role he manages the research and development of new technologies and products at scales ranging from lab to pre-commercial. He also provides production support to all of REGs biorefineries and technical support for commercial activities. A native of Pella, IA, Martin received a B.S. in Engineering from Dordt University (Sioux Center, IA) before moving to Ames, IA to attend graduate school at Iowa State University. While at ISU, he conducted award-winning research on biofuel production technologies and earned both a Masters and Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to serving on the Cultivation Corridor, Martin has held a seat on the Dordt University Engineering Advisory Board since 2014.
