We are excited that the 2019 BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Ag Tech is almost here. America’s Cultivation Corridor is ready to welcome the world’s innovators and entrepreneurs to Des Moines this week. Iowa is at the forefront of industrial bioscience and we can’t wait for Congress attendees to see that for themselves!

The Corridor is a proud sponsor of the Start-Up Stadium, which will highlight 32 early-emerging companies as they present their new technologies and value propositions to a panel of investors, analysts and strategists. Not only do these start-ups have a strong presence in Iowa, but they also bring representation from around the world. Iowa’s ecosystem for agricultural entrepreneurs, researchers and start-up companies is second-to-none. This event will showcase the creative environment and vast opportunities for entrepreneurship and innovation here in the Corridor.

Along with the Start-Up Stadium, attendees can tour companies and research facilities that are leading in biobased solutions. Session speakers will also highlight innovation as we demonstrate that Iowa is home to world-class research and leaders who come together to create new biobased technologies: the science that feeds the world.

We are excited to connect, educate and elevate innovators throughout the BIO World Congress and I hope to see many of you this week!
