The third event of the Iowa Caucus Consortium’s Federal Issues Series will be focused on the topic of agriculture and bioscience. Iowa Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst will lead a discussion on how the policies of feeding, fueling and healing the world will affect the upcoming Iowa Caucuses and presidential election. Brent Willett, Executive Director of the Cultivation Corridor, will moderate the discussion.
The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 23 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the State Historical Building, 600 E. Locust St., Des Moines. Registration is not required, but is encouraged. The Federal Issues Series allows Greater Des Moines community members and business leaders to learn about key issues facing presidential candidates on the campaign trail. This series is a continuation of the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Federal Issues Series that began with events in February and March.
