Kimberly Nelson

President Kemin Nutrisurance

Kimberly Nelson is the President of Kemin’s largest business unit, Kemin Nutrisurance.

Prior to her current role, she served as president of Kemin Textile Auxiliaries (KTA), which operates under the name Garmon Chemicals. Nelson formulated the idea to introduce the textile to Kemin to further diversify the company as she completed a master’s degree in textiles. Upon opening this new division, Nelson led an acquisition of an Italian based company and was placed as Manager of South Asia, relocating to Bangalore, India. In July 2019, Kimberly was promoted to President of KTA and relocated to Italy, where she worked to navigate the business through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and led it back on budget in 2021. In January 2022, Nelson relocated back to the U.S. and began her role in the Kemin Nutrisurance business unit. Prior to joining Kemin, Nelson spent five years in marketing in Hong Kong.

Nelson grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, before attending Northwestern University for her undergraduate studies. She received a master’s degree in Textiles from the Savannah College of Arts in Hong Kong, with a focus in supply chain. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys yoga, cooking, reading, and travelling.
