Stacey Pellett

Manager, State Public Affairs Deere & Company

Stacey Pellett is the Manager of State Public Affairs, with responsibility for John Deere’s business interests in the Midwest, Upper Midwest, and Northwest Regions. She focuses on developing strong relationships with elected officials in the State House, Senate, and Executive Branch as well as with key industry association partners. Pellett works alongside these stakeholders to support Deere’s Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, Financial and Mining business units. Furthermore, she is a strong advocate and champion on behalf of John Deere dealers and customers.

Pellett grew up in Texas where she was involved in 4H and showed cattle, sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, goats, and even once a llama. She also rodeoed for many years, participating in barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying. Now, she and her husband Mike oversee and are actively involved in the operation of their 6th generation family farm in Atlantic, Iowa. In her spare time, she is active in her church, enjoys cooking, reading, fitness and cheering their children on in their various endeavors.

Pellett obtained a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Agribusiness and an MBA from Texas Tech University in International Business. She and Mike have two children who will hopefully one day become the 7th generation of Pelletts to farm in southwest Iowa.
