Stacie LoVan, CEcD, serves as Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Greater Des Moines Partnership, where she leads The Partnership’s efforts to recruit industry to Greater Des Moines (DSM) and assist local companies with expansion projects in the 11-county region. LoVan has directed numerous site location proposals and financial assistance packages to secure economic development projects for the region.
LoVan is designated as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) by the International Economic Development Council and an Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council. She has served in economic development for more than 30 years and has been with The Partnership for the past 20 years. Prior to joining The Partnership, LoVan was the Executive Director of the Warren County Economic Development Corporation. Her experience also includes economic development and chamber of commerce roles in Fayette, Mo. and Pittsburg, Kan.
An Iowa native, LoVan received her Bachelor of Science from Simpson College. She and her husband, Vince LoVan, have two sons and live in Indianola, Iowa.
