Megan Decker

My name is Megan Decker and I am a Junior this year at Iowa State University studying Agricultural & Rural Policy Studies and International Agriculture. Originally from rural Rockwell City, Iowa, I am from a family farm where we grow corn and soybeans. At Iowa State, I am involved as a group fitness instructor, CALS Ambassadors, CALS Start Something, CALS Dean Student Advisory Board, and previously served as Student Body Vice President. I have interned for Iowa’s Office of the Governor, the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation, and as a Public Affairs Intern for the Iowa Soybean Association. I have also been a member of the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team. Upon graduation from Iowa State, I want to work in public policy or as an agricultural lawyer. I am looking forward to working this semester on ACC’s mission of connecting innovators around the world!
