Sukup’s Pistachio Mixed Flow Dryer Named 2025 Manufacturing Innovation of the Year

SHEFFIELD, Iowa (November 7, 2025) — Innovation has always been at the heart of Sukup Manufacturing Company, and this year, that dedication was recognized in a big way. Our Pistachio Mixed Flow Dryer was named Manufacturing Innovation of the Year at the 20th Annual Prometheus Awards, hosted by the Technology Association of Iowa.

For two decades, the Prometheus Awards have celebrated the very best in Iowa technology and innovation. The event brings together leaders, educators, and innovators from across the state, all with one shared goal, moving Iowa forward. To see agriculture represented among so many different industries makes this honor especially meaningful. Matt Koch, Chief Marketing Officer at Sukup Manufacturing Co., played a key role in the creation and development of the Pistachio Mixed Flow Dryer.
