Pork continues to gain national recognition as a nutritious, high-quality protein, backed by decades of research and growing visibility in dietary guidance and media. With continued investment in science and engagement with health professionals, pork is well-positioned to remain a trusted choice on consumers’ plates.

For producers, this alignment matters. When research, health professionals and consumer-facing conversations point in the same direction, it strengthens pork’s position and builds confidence in the product. 

A Month Focused on Nutrition and Progress 

March is National Nutrition Month and brings a national focus on nutrition, alongside a meaningful milestone for NPB. Pork & Partners marked three years of connecting with healthcare professionals through research, resources and education. 

What began as a targeted effort to engage dietitians and health professionals has grown into a trusted platform that delivers science-based information, continuing education opportunities and practical tools. These are the audiences helping shape nutrition recommendations and influencing how consumers think about food.
